Come along with your instrument (or just yourself) and get stuck into a relaxed night of jamming. Whether you're here to play or just enjoy the tunes, everyone's welcome.

To keep these sessions free to attend, we just ask that you support the night by grabbing a drink or a bite while you're here – every purchase at the bar helps us keep the jams going.

No need to drink alcohol if that's not your thing – we've got loads of soft drinks and some cracking empanadas too.

Experience a night of deep groove, open improvisation, and expansive sonic textures.

The trio of Sheldon Agwu (electric guitar), Max Luthert (upright bass & modular synth), and Yusuf Ahmed (drums & percussion)

Each a standout force in London’s vibrant jazz and experimental scenes, the trio blends rich harmonic and textural landscapes with rhythm-driven interplay and bold spontaneity:

- Sheldon Agwu brings a unique blend of jazz guitar, ambient textures, and electronic influences, known for his genre-defying releases such as Kintsugi and Vtet live at Mu and Seeds of Sanctum.

- Yusuf Ahmed is a versatile drummer and improviser whose playing draws from jazz, afro-funk, and world traditions.

- Max Luthert, one of the UK’s most in-demand bassists, has performed with Nubya Garcia, Zara McFarlane, and Moses Boyd. His playing is fluid, grounded, and deeply expressive.

This one-off trio date at The Muddy Puddle promises boundary-pushing improvisation, lush grooves, and a meeting of minds at the intersection of jazz, ambient, and rhythm exploration.

We are The Dalston Dub Club, a London-based music collective that blends the classic sounds of 60s and 70s dub and instrumental reggae with a strong jazz influence.
Come enjoy a night of live reggae music with some special guest appearances and recharge your soul!!

Led by drummer and composer Alex Temple-Heald, Temple Trio is a new outlet for almost a decade of writing. Rooted in jazz, but shaped by orchestral harmony, modern songwriting and years of cross-genre collaboration. His wide-ranging career has included a number performances at the BBC Proms, several West End productions, recordings for Netflix series and film soundtracks, as well as writing and production for London based singer-songwriters.

The group features pianist Harry Baker, collaborator with cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason and innovative BBC Proms arranger, and bassist Ed Ireland, in demand session musician across the jazz and singer-songwriter scenes alike. The trio records their debut album in October 2025.

Mellowdrive is like driving on an open road and letting your thoughts drift to places you didn’t know existed, resurfacing feelings of nostalgia, longing, expansion. The three of us bring our own inspirations to the table, from indie folk to dream pop, alternative, indie rock. After playing together for more than a year we're thrilled to share our first single Between my lines in November.

Discover how our minds symbolise our bodies and learn to recognise, communicate with, and ultimately befriend the inner demons that shape our experience. Through insights from psychology and embodied awareness, we’ll explore new ways to care for these complex parts of ourselves in the initial lecture by Josh Fein-Brown

Part II: Music as Medicine

Viviana Caro, A scientist/sound artist reveals how sound becomes a bridge to our deepest selves. Learn how music rewires our brains, syncs with our heart rhythms, and creates profound physiological shifts that connect us to ourselves and each other.

Part III: Bringing Music

Speakman Sound brings cerebral, electronic beats that invite you to bring music to everything you’ve learned. This is your moment to connect with the music, breathe, and release with the parts of yourself you’ve been getting to know.
