Throwing a birthday party in Stoke Newington?
We'd love to have you! Saturday nights, up to 50 of you across the shop floor, the garden and our 70s basement. Your playlist on our decks, or bring a DJ.

Why people love a birthday here
- Proper decks and a hi-fi on the shop floor
- A live room in the basement if you want a band
- The garden, for warm summer nights
- Cracking Arquitos empanadas and a full bar
Things people ask us
- Do we get the whole place?
- Yes! A birthday booking is the shop floor, the garden and the basement, all yours.
- What time does it finish?
- Guests from 5pm. The garden closes at 10pm, the bar and music at 11pm, and the venue at 11.30pm.
- Can children come?
- Not after 6pm, sadly. Our licence doesn't allow it, and with guests arriving from 5pm a birthday here is a grown-ups' night.
- Can we bring our own music?
- Plug your playlist into the decks, or bring a DJ. Fancy a band? The basement's a live room, and if you need sound engineering we can talk it through and arrange it.
- Is it step-free?
- No, sorry. There's a step in from the street and stairs down to the basement. Details under Access below.
Access
There's a step up into the venue from the street, and the basement is reached by a flight of stairs. There's no step-free access to any part of the venue. If you'd like to talk through access before booking, please get in touch.
Which Saturdays are free?
A date that's crossed out already has a booking. The rest are free, meaning nothing's in the diary yet, not that the date is held: it stays an enquiry until we reply.
Booked dates are still worth asking about! A booking may be a small one, or the other room may suit.
Showing the next six months.
Sounds good?
Tell us the date, rough numbers and any special requests, and we'll write back with pricing. Let's make it happen!
