Angel Wong writes pop songs that wander through genres but always find their way home to a hook.
Her ear for melody, developed from the Miao heritage of Guizhou and the cultural melting pot of Hong Kong, underpins the catchy lines she writes and her unique harmonic language. Angel's sonic influences span from Whitney Houston to the Red Hot Chili Peppers, the electronic pulse of Zedd and Tiësto to the architecture of Bach and the vernacular of Thelonious Monk.
Now firmly rooted in London's music scene, Angel spent years cutting her teeth in the city's jazz circuit, performing at the EFG London Jazz Festival and beyond, and collaborating with Grammy-winning artists before returning to her first love: pop music. Sharp, witty and warm, her songwriting rewards the casual listener and the deep diver equally, with moments of quiet humour woven into vulnerable lyrics that move between lighthearted and bold.

James Wang is a London-based pianist best known for his work with award-winning band Pulsar. A doctor by day, James brings the same dedication to music as he does to medicine, a passion forged during his early years as a young musician in the Manchester music scene. His influences range from Rachmaninoff to Keith Jarrett. Meandering fluidly between the touch of a classical pianist and the freedom of a jazz pianist, James will be opening the night with a solo set of classical, jazz and original compositions.

Nii is a British singer-songwriter and indie/pop artist from London whose music blends soulful hooks, introspective lyricism, and modern indie sensibilities. In 2025 he gained massive attention with the viral single “Penelope”, which was followed by his second EP Whiplash features Penelope alongside other standout tracks Issues and Bubblegum. In 2025, Nii was spotlighted by Spotify UK’s Fresh Finds Class of 2025 and that same year he performed live at the iconic BBC Maida Vale Studios for BBC Radio 1Xtra’s On-Air Demo showcase. Now working on new music, Nii is gearing for exciting releases in 2027.
